Ron has been found. Headed off from Hyde in glorious morning sunshine.

Met a couple on Stourton flight that live in USA and come back to their boat at Stourport once a year for a month on the waterways. Onto the Stourbridge canal with its clear water. Teeming with fish some quite large.

Into Stourbridge basin where we had to ask for Jim or Joy. we found Jim and he directed us to moor in a spot which proved quite tight on the far bank of the basin. Just moored up when it tarted to rain. Short day today moored up by 1230. Redundancies in Derby works announced.
